CYS Coordinator

Stephanie and her husband, Josh, arrived in January 2018 from the mainland where they were living and traveling in a 1985 VW Vanagon.  They are excited to be back on Kwajalein Atoll as they met in 2010 on Roi and feel that coming back to the RMI is like coming home.  Originally from California, Stephanie loves the beach and enjoys all outdoor activities.  She seeks new activities and adventures and is learning to kite board and dive.

Stephanie has a B.S. in Physics from University of La Verne, an M.A. in Education from Claremont Graduate University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Kansas State University.  Stephanie's background is very diverse spanning teaching, curriculum development, policy, and research.  She has over 10 years of experience in various tutoring, mentoring, teaching, and supervising positions with students from primary to graduate level.

Facility Director

Ashley and her family have lived on Kwajalein for almost 3 years. Her two boys are often seen running around with friends and climbing trees. Ashley can usually be found enjoying the Kwaj sunsets but she also enjoys a good Netflix binge watching session! She is an expert at collecting new recipes but never actually trying them out.

Ashley has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State University and has worked with children in many different capacities over the past several years. The best part about working in Central Registration is getting to greet all the kids and families every day! She also loves to help new families get involved in the many programs and activities offered on Kwajalein.
